Unhappy Uh oh... ALL Camaro SS V8 manuals currently on hold and not shipping from factory

Annonced by GM this morning

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=32330

Searching around for the answer, it looks like some Camaro5 members have broken output shafts when using launch control or dropping the clutch.

Hope GM gets this ironed out quick so they can keep up the sales momentum on this car.

If it's true, at least they are looking into a potential problem and fix instead of ignoring it as they did with our wimpy *** rear ends. A good reason not go out and buy one of the first cars off of the production line also.

I agree.

And, no, that's not a contradiction.

Excellent point.
Plus there are NO guarantees that the 2nd or 3rd model year of a particular vehicle won't come with it's own set of new issues as well.
And that applies to new vehicles from any manufacturer, not just GM.

The output shaft Czar has decided to eliminate the IRS to increase profits. They plan on putting leftover 10 bolts from the 4th Gens into the SS

I saw it in it has to be true.
