Cam Install Q's Warning - n00bness begins here _____ Hey all, Just wanted to hear from someone who has done a cam swap on a new Camaro. From what I hear, the engine does not have to be removed to swap a cam in these cars. True? I know the radiator has to go and the AC core has to be moved out of the way, but besides that, its good to go, right? Any special tools required? Parts beside the cam? |
That is right. pull the radiator and condensor. The cam will slide out. Make sure you either get the new style one bolt cam or a new 3 bolt 4 position cam sprocket and tensioner. |
