Default ZL1 5.3 motor question.

Ok. I was reading the new ZL1 is suppose to have a supercharged 5.3 with the LS7 heads. My question is how are those heads suppose to fit if the those heads need a 4'' bore?

ZL1 is a 6.2, not a 5.3

This. The ZL1 comes with the LS-A out of the Cadillac CTS-V. It's a 6.2L. Basically a supercharged LS3 from my understanding.

Because it uses a LSX block and probably has a 4 inch bore but running a smaller stroke than a standard 5.3 cubic inches can always be played with by changing bore and stroke sizes. I see quit a few guys running enignes with large bores but running small strokes
