The gauges.....blah I cannot stand the speedo and tach guages nor the monitoring gauges placed down by the shifter. Retro sucks. I hope the production car has more modern gauges.

WHAAAT!? I think they look awesome! I'm surprised you guys don't like them. I even like the "retro" guages in the new Mustang, but the Camaro takes the idea one step further with the guages in front of the shifter like the first gen's. I think it's bad ***.
Console gauges will most likely be optional equipment, and only be redundant to information accessible in the head-up display. So they'll kinda be for show.
I think I could get used to the instrument panel as it is, but we'll have to wait and see what the production car gets.

i just hope the shifter has a leather boot. id hate for someone to drop a soda or somethin on it w/o any protection. the gauges i can get used to, but it looks like they might be a little hard to read at a quick glance.
