Default Went 11.80@116 @ Milan tonight. 16 SS a8

Sooooo close to 11.7. Was holding the car in gear all night because it would shift about 100 ft befor the line. On my last run DA was down to -100 and I hit the rev limiter right before the line! Costing me the 11.7! With a hook I was running consistent 11.8-11.9 with da at +50-100.

Ran a scat a few times. Had the air box mod, tazer and dr. My first run we both blew the tires off. He ran 12.8 to my 12.5. He trapped 113 i trapped 115 that run. He got out in front of me but I steadily pulled him. The cars are very very close. He got a best of 11.9x@114. With out my weight loss from the drag pack the cars would honestly be a dead heat. I'd give a very very slight edge to the sexgen. I'm talking like .1 and 1 mph. Was a newer 5.0 auto and a 13 5.0 auto both on drag packs. Not sure what else. They running 12.3-12.7 at 110-113 all night.

Was a stock stingray running 11.8@116. They don't have much on a 6g. My guess is a tenth maybe two.
New zo6 I seen run 11.1 it may have went faster. Also a stock 6g with supercharger and a new focus rs guys were from livernois. SS having traction issues running 11.3. I beat the brakes off the focus it ran a 13.4.
All in all awesome night and I'm hooked! Got about 13 passes in. Got a video as well of the 11.80 of someone can tell me how to post it. The time is too blurry to see though

He had drag radials. Air filter removed (found out later found him on the net). Hellcat air box mod (directs/plumbs air in from outside i believe). Tazer is an app that allows line lock and also an increase of shift points and shift firmness.

They are nice. They are about as fast as an SS. I'd say just a touch behind apples to apples. He ran 11.98@114. With similar 60 he was about .2 and 2.5 mph behind me that night.

I bought my SS for 30k. They are doing 20% and sometimes more depending on dealership for leftover 16s through Oct. FYI

Are you trying to compare my runs and very own personal experience against the cars same track same day watching them run all night in the same conditions as me vs random internet claims?

Are you kidding me right now?

that's the biggest pile of condescending garbage post ive ever seen. you can have your cheers and keep the ridiculous comments to yourself.

your insulting cliff notes- everyone all night wasn't proper except me. you should really have lost by more. 6g are ok. gee thanks

As stated before, nice runs for drag wheels, drag tires, CAI, PTB, and mild WR.

Hope you get the 11.7X or 11.6X you want

Thanks.

It was just the seat back and it's ~15lbs. And im 250 lol. I kept the bottom portion in it didn't want to come out/was going to damage it felt like. I put the rear seat back back in. Not worth it to look at an ugly hole through to the trunk.
A delete kit is coming soon that I'll purchase but it puts 16 lbs back in. Sound deadened etc. they claim 20 lb savings and it has some storage.

Thinking about teaching my 140 lb girlfriend to drive it. I'd have 11.6 in the bag lol. Especially with even lower da coming.

you're right. i was purposefully OVER condescending.. as you were purposefully arrogant and braggadocios about your camaro running close to or beating a stingray. and a C7Z running 11.1 as if that's the norm.. so next time, remember, when you call out the other cars in the family someone might catch you. and OK you can drive.. fantastic. now imagine someone who can drive in a Stingray all things being equal (or a Z06)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qsnQxxVzbAo fastest. but to make a point. and there's dozens of high 10 second Z06's on forum (and youtube) bone stock

as for Stingrays. here you go.
glad the camaro is faster this gen but before you go challenging a level too far up do some research.. "stingray maybe a tenth or two"

i'll leave you be. sorry i checked in here. bursting bubbles and what not
I know about every single one of those runs etc. I'm quite the gm fanatic. Not sure how I was overly bragging just reporting my results. Sorry it hurts your narrative

Not sure how this holds a candle to same day same track comparison you bench race pro. And lol at assuming 100% truth behind all those runs.

Here's some BR of my own.
a drag pack 6g is only a couple tenths behind a stock stingray. Vette 3-400 lbs lighter actually putting down a touch less to the wheels same dyno same day. A drag pack puts me right in the hunt with one. Actually tied his best run but I'm being nice. And way to ignore the trap speeds lol.

Sorry to burst your bubble. And I paid a whopping 30,600 is just icing on the cake.

The 1le beats the z51 on a road course for far less as well. Pretty exciting.

The c7z was a manual I thought he did pretty good on a cold night with stock tires. I'm sure you could have done much better though

Your entire argument is hypothetical. I have actual results. Lmao

You just don't get it. Comparing different tracks different day = fail. You assume everything equal across the country every time regardless of conditions or track or wind or etc etc ? Are you kidding me ? For example similar setup to mine has been 11.6@ nearly 121 mph.

It wasn't a hero run. I ran 11.8 3 times. I'm looking for a possible 11.6 with lower DA.

And like I said if you want to compare power to weight (and rotating mass is worth even more) I'm all over a stock stingray. And I was. All night long. The end.

The c7z was a manual on stock tires on a cold track. Have you even raced before ? Is this a joke of some kind?

i trolled your thread. i apologize for that.

but to answer your question:

no. only you have ever "raced" before.

i haven't been drag racing for 25years.

i haven't been in magazines.

i haven't had tracks rented out privately for articles, been invited to manufacturer special events, and no i have never gone faster than you

you have the fastest stock, seat removed SS out there. i wish you well.

we've all been there.. having to learn about humility. let's see if you do.

I wasn't trying to be overly anything. I was happy with my results from a near stock car that I paid 30k for. I was reporting my honest results.

My seats aren't removed. Just the rear seat back which is now back in. The 11.6 car seats were removed. Not mine. And like I've said I weigh 250.

Thanks for the apology. That was surprising. I'll try to be a little less excited with my results next time.
