I seen k&n makes a cold air kit so that is a start, I took a look at the motor to see what the stock manifolds looked like and there is only 1 exhaust port?! lmao not what I expected when I opened up the hood

Can't run long tubes on that car because the manifold is integrated to the head

Yep it's different lol. Now on my 2016 V6 Mustang you can do headers since it's a traditional design

My 2016 Jetta sport with 1.8TSI EA888 is the same way. Exhaust manifold built right into the head.

looking like, exhaust with some type of mid pipe, cold air kit and a tune car is suppose to make 335hp so the couple mods should be a little bump for him

The way I see it if they buy a V6 and start modding it blowing away their warranty. They can afford an SS or at least in the end they will end up paying what an SS would have cost them.

For the little gains there just isn't any reason to waste time on mods unless maybe some suspension stuff to help on the autox course. The V6 can actually hold it's own there.

True and I have said the same thing but he wants the mods done so I told him I would help and offer up what I figured out for him, kinda how I ended up buying my trans am cause by the time I would have modded up my 3v mustang I would have barly been able to beat a cam only ls1
