https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/ls1tech...a5d1ccdf6a.jpg

Vengeance Racing has teamed up with a group of our preferred high-performance manufacturers to put together the ultimate solution of forged connecting rods and pistons for the Gen V LT1 engine! This rod/piston combination was tested thoroughly in our " Horsepower Wars" 2019 Camaro SS that makes just over 950rwhp via a Procharger D1X and other Vengeance Racing performance parts. This combination was brutally tested in extreme temperatures and high/sustained RPM at this power level. We rate this combination to 1,200+ HP and requires no balancing or machine work, making it a much simpler solution to handle power in your LT1.

David, do you have any plans on making a drop in piston rod upgrade for the LS3 platform? I've spoken with CP/Carillo and a couple other vendors and they all seem willing to put something together, but they need the bob weight. Which is kinda hard to come by, short of yanking the motor.

That looks like an opprotunity Vengance could jump on...

Hell, Summit sells on for $1100, but I dont know if I trust their stuff.

Our Summit Pro LS pistons and rods are up to the task of 1000 whp out of the box. The pistons are modern 2618 forgings designed for boost and nitrous. They have thick ring lands for durability. The rods are top-notch 4340 H-beams precision-honed in the USA to +/- .0001". Our piston and rod kits come with a premium ring pack. They include steel top rings designed for boost and nitrous. They also include Napier-hook second rings for maximum strength and oil control.

You could increase compression to 11:1 with stock 70cc heads using our 2cc dome piston in an LS3. That would be the SUM-PR36L0652 piston/rod combo for the stock bore. If you needed to go .005" over we have the SUM-PR36L0702.

If you think it's possible you will see over 1000 whp, it would be a good idea to do upgraded pins. Those would be Wiseco WIS-S718.

These are not drop-in. You may get lucky and the balance could work out. Although it is likely re-balancing will be required.
