I just got a 2016 1SS, After drooling/slobering/test driving these things for the last few years,I couldn't hold myself back any more and had to pull the trigger. 6sp manual, sunroof charcoal grey ext. I LOVE this car, had been a motorcycle racer for years this is right up my alley. However, could not believe the POS sound system Chevy had the gall to put in this. I went to a car stereo place and they "beefed it up" sounds great BUT now the turn signals are too loud and the door chime rattles my ear drums in a miserable way. I'm thinking/hoping somebody out there has magical solution for this. I went back to the car stereo place and they said that's what happens when you increase the power of the stereo- sorry don't know what to tell you.

Never heard of that, but the factory 1SS system does suck *****.

Try Camaro6.com. Much more info for the GEN5 SBC cars over there. LS1Tech caters more to your GEN3/GEN4 SBC cars.

Put headers on it and call it a day...

Wish I had other ideas because you're right, the stereo does suck but not really my thing anyway so doesn't bother me.
