Default Back seats?

Just curious, have you taken your back seats out, or left them in?

Bought the car, drove it home, got the tools, removed the rear seat. People complain about not having enough room, and I will be damned if im moving my seat. Plus if you remove the seat belts, and everything its a lot of weight, and less weight=faster car.

I'm in between. The last owner threw mine out completely. My last car had the rear seat taken out, so I wanted this car to be more functional. Besides, at a party last week there were three ASU hotties that needed rides home. It was like 20 miles back, so telling them to sit on the metal bracket wasn't gonna happen. Damnit! Lost out to someone with a... Cavalier.

And besides... lifting all the seats today... everything weight what... 50 lbs tops? The bottoms weight nothing, the top isn't much more. Besides, I think it looks unfinished back there w/o it. JMO though.

So now I've got the seat bottoms in. The top is ready to go, but I need to get the belts first.

Thats a myth. I removed mine and even with the seatbelts, Id be lucky to get half that.

I did mine more for the room than anything.

Mine are still in. I want my car to be as street friendly as possible. It looks uncomplete too.

That's what I think, that's why mine are still in.

But, I have seen a few people make nice covers or custom sub boxes.

I would love to build a wall, but I am broke.

People ride with me only out of necessity now that I have mine out. But they've said that it's not too bad.

I took mine out in my z28. I would do it in the SS but I doesn't really look right with the break in the carpet, if I get new carpet I am just going to leave the backseat out.

Took them out. I always think about putting that lightweight carpet from the front seats back, I would probably cut the brackets out then too. I've got a six point bar, I don't think passengers would have a fun time getting in and out and riding back there anyway.

Guess after awhile you get used to them not being there also. I don't look at the interior and think its strange anymore.

yeah seriously, the buckets probably weigh about 5 pounds, and the back bench weighs about 15. dont see how that will change anything in the car.
