Install price for catback?
I called a local guy with a really good reputation. Said it shouldn't be more than $100 to install my magnaflow. Good deal?

LOL! My driveway is dirt. Don't feel like having the jackstands slip. Call me crazy, but I enjoy breathing and I would like to keep doing it for a while.

Actually, that's a good idea. If I hadn't made the appointment, I might have tried that. Oh well, maybe I will install the headers myself.

im starting to think i should let people do my work... sometime its not worth laying on my back for hours when a pro has all the right tools and a lift...
ive done all my mods on my last 3 f/y body and it gets very annoying at times...

100 sounds reasonable.
Our cars have almost a decade of life in the Northeast under them. Mine was rusted pretty badly & that made the job more difficult. However, it was nothing that a bottle of PB Blaster or a torch can't loosen right up.
I did the install in my driveway with some jackstands. Ramps don't lift the car enough, IMO.
If it's not too late, and you have the ability to, then I suggest you do it yourself. However, the $100 quote is very reasonable.
my 2 cents.

Yeah, it could be $60. What he said was that he couldn't say for sure without seeing the kit. (spoke on the phone) Depends on time to get the kit fitting right, etc. He just said that there's no way it would be more than $100.
