Been thinking bout sellin my 00 camaro ss 6 speed for a while now. i just kind of got bored of it and its not very practical. I just got offered 10250 for it its got 79000 miles all options leather t-tops. i konw thats a really good deal for me and im really wanting a truck instead. But i know i will miss the **** out of this car and probably regret it. So what do you guys think go with the smart financial move and sell it for a truck or keep it and put some money into it to get rid of the boredom

Park your car and buy a cheap practical dd. If you have extra cash afterwords buy parts to mod it. That's what I am doing right now and since Feb. Have only put 500 miles on it but have enjoyed the time I do drive helluva lot more.

Yes, 3 months from now and you will be kicking yourself if this F-body experience has indeed entered your bloodstream. Good advice above if you can afford it. Park it, store it, whatever and get a DD. Next spring you can revive this thread and say "thanks". These are very addictive cars. I've had F-bodies now since July 1996. A totally different machine that is hard to be without no matter what else you may drive. Hope you can keep it. If not, you can always come back and get another. Still many nice examples for sale and I'm sure there will be next year too.

I know I regretted it when I sold my 01 SS I still miss that car! but I got my current on and ill never let it go.

KEEP IT & get a p.o.s if u have to. I've had mine tore down all summer except 500 miles of drive time for a car show & I can't wait 2 get back on the road with it. I have 3 vehicles & 2 are tore down for build up so I have 2 drive my p.o.s. grandma car around. ohh well gets me where I want to go.

Spend a few hundred and put 4.10 gears in it and if that dont spark your interest to keep it then just go ahead and sell it.
