Default Valvetrain Noise

I know its a subjective question, but how noisy is your valvetain?

I took precautions to keep it quiet (trunion upgrade, Pat G Cammotion lobes), but it still gets it on from time to time .625/.625

It will be hard to avoid it, especially if you have the stock or cheapo aftermarket lifters.

And even with a softer lobe from Cammotion, you still have pretty good lift. So unless you have really long duration on the cam, a .625 lift lobe will have to be relatively aggressive to get in that kinda lift in a short/medium duration. Regardless of how "soft" the lobes may be, they still have to achieve a certain lift...so the higher it is the more aggressive the lobe has to be.

Not that that's lot of lift in today's world, but that will add to the noise.

Hell, even the stock valvetrain you can audibly hear.
