I'm not sure on this setup exactly because I have never heard it, but in general no muffler is crazy loud.

Any back pressure problems, or any sucking in cold air to the valves with running a set up like that

Running open headers there is always a chance of burning up a valve. Google ls1sounds.com and listen to all their clips. Pretty much every combination is on there.

I started my car up at each stage of the exhaust install (open headers, dumped Y-pipe, and with the catback on). It sounds good at idle, but is still very loud and raspy. If nothing else, at least put a bullet muffler after the Y.

In my opinion that would be way to loud for the street and just asking to get pulled over all the time. Should go with a lm1 would still be very raspy and loud enough that anyone with in visual distance of you would clearly hear it and know it was you haha. And then if you do get pulled over you can still play dumb and say somethings up with your muffler and it wouldent just be open exhaust and clearly no attempt to quiet it down. ( i know this from experience lol)

To the op depends what you like. With a cam on my old set up i ran td's but then bottomed out tore it up so temporarily cut it off and ran about three foot of pipe off each header with a bullet on the end it was very loud at at first but then i got used to it the cops never bothered me but of course i never revved it when i was around one. That should have been way louder then what your thinking about so i don't think you'll have a problem.

I've been running around with that exact setup (pacesetter's and a dumped TSP Y pipe) for a few months, haha. It gets old but I drive by cops all the time and have never been pulled over. With that said, I've got some dynomax parts which should be here today...
