LS4 questions...

LS4 questions... Basically all I need to know is whether the LS4 is any heavier than the L32 S/C 3800 and if it is any wider or longer than the Cadi 4.5 V8 from the late 80's...and will a 4T60E bolt up to the LS4?
This is for a FWD GM project...I already know the S/C 3800 will fit and work well but someone suggested the LS4 as an alternative and I am intrigued...
Thoughts?

well the ls4 comes in the impala ss, which can also come with the 3900 or the 3800, and I have seen both and didn't really notice a size difference, don't know about the trans,
