need a cable driven throttle body

Default need a cable driven throttle body

which cable operated throttle body can i use on my 08 LS2 its out of a trail blazer ss and im using the stock truck intake

I think it depends on the number of screws it has for the TB, 3 or 4.

Most any company makes a 4 bolt cable tb. I have a 92mm bbk 4 bolt cable tb. It was less than 300 shipped from s&k speed.

Ok thanks for the reply. Looks like I may just wind up switching to a car intake since I'm going with a new project car, want to have the option of mounting the motor up under a stock car hood if need be

The truck is designed for torque not horsepower. Definitely would swap it out.

Either way, car or truck intake, they have the same flange, so it will work on either manifold.

Will the LS1 car intake and throttle body work on a LS2 ? I see that they have different size throttle body's

Yes, the Ls2 intake is only marginally better than the ls1 intake. Which is lame. The Ls2 style truck intake is actually very good in comparison. It is right on par with the ls6 intake.

If you need it to fit under a car hood, I would get an ls6 intake which is a good improvement over the junk ls2 intake.

Yea going with the LS1 for now, got a good deal on a setup and it's all my budget will allow. Motor is all stock, if and when I port the heads and go with a bigger cam I will look into changing it then
