Default How many miles has your LS1 gone without having to overhaul it?

A little over a year ago I got my 2002 B4C with roughly 210,000 on it, and about a week before I picked it up, I posted a thread asking about using seafoam on an engine with 200,000+ miles on it. I got some helpful insight and ended up seafoaming my engine and had great results! The engine idled smoother, and sounded better. I was just re-reading my post and found an interesting question (especially since my car will turn over 250,000 by the end of this week), and after reading the "Official odometer/mileage thread" it made me wonder even more.

This is the quote from over a year ago

How many miles has your LS1 or LT1 gone without having to overhaul it? Mine popped a little over 100k. I wasn't the owner then bought it after they completely overhauled it.

I know what you mean, at 250k a rebuild is in my future as well, and since the motor will be out and about, may as well add a few extra "goodies" to it
But when the time comes I am also considering swapping in an LS3 or GMPP LS376/480 just depends on $$$ when the time comes

My LT1 has 174,000 on it right now. Still pulls well and runs great.

The secret is to drive it like you stole it.

I have an 02' SS with 137k that still runs like new. No leaks and I hope to get to at least 200k before a rebuild. I put @ 30k miles a year on her a year so I a hoping for the best.
