Bored with car...what to do? lol
Was looking into possibly picking up a LS2 GTO or Termi Cobra but I don't want the payments....I thought I would be satisfied w/ a heads/cam build but im not, as you all know after a few days the car just felt slow....any recommendations on what to do w/ her? Would like to keep it budget friendly, but I need more ponies....

What is it that you're looking for exactly? A certain power level or a certain ET capability? Or is it just that you're tired of the car in general?
If you drive something often enough, then just about any streetable power level will stop surprising and exciting you after some time. This would happen with an LS2 GTO or Cobra as well. You could always add N2O to your current setup as a cheap way to add some excitement once in a while. On the other hand, if you're just tired of the car in general then it's time to move on. Some people rarely get bored with a car, other's seem to need a new project quite often; neither is right or wrong, it's just a matter of different personalities.

I did the 6 speed swap and it was fun, I recently got back into racing though so I switched my car back to a stalled auto. If you dont do any racing and the car isnt a dd I can see a turbo M6 car being a very fun weekend toy.

And if N2O is not an option, then you really don't have any cheap way to make more power. At this point you'd have to look at FI or a displacement increase (either of which would probably make you happier than just doing a bigger cam or such, because you'd have significantly more torque at lower street rpms).

there are endless options for more power on these cars. If your bored with your power level then what is switching to another ride going to do. Your gonna be bored with that car sooner or later. Get more cubes and go forced induction. Thats what I'll be doing when funds allow.

If you're bored with the car overall, then one with say different looks and interior might be a good idea.
If you're bored with the car's power, then you going with a slower car is only going to make it worse obviously. Giving up an h/c/i stalled fbody and jumping into a stock gto or cobra is not going to do anything for your need for speed. By the time you get those new cars up to speed and have more power than your current ride you could have invested that in the car you do have and made it significantly more powerful.

Ant, Huron Speed is doing a killer deal on a group purchase on their turbo kit right now. Only $500 to get in and final payment isnt due till February. Would be nice to have another turbo Camaro in the area to play with
