How loud is your daily?
 

I have been outta the fast car scene for a while.. well i'm back and just got me a 2000 trans am its got a butt load of mods the exhaust is Pacesetter Coated Headers, Off-Road Y pipe Corsa 3" Exhaust and its loud as shit lol i forgot what it was like to drive a loud car all good tho just know im gonna piss people off in my complex when I gotta go to work everyday at 6AM lol

i got a decal at a local biker shop, says if its too damn loud your too damn old, ill be throwing one on my daily 1 ton dodge ram and one my my Z28..... (the daily is actually louder lol)

I just have a pair of magnaflows out back and don't think it's that loud, but store owners make comments on how they hear my car coming in and it sets off car alarms. I'm either going deaf or these guys have really good hearing.

I like my sleeper but at full throttle, watch out.

my daily is a '00 z28 m6 with an SLP catback, I think 3 1/2 diameter pipe? It's incredibly loud, and I love it! I've only had loud cars, and feel like an oldhead and almost die of boredom in a quiet, automatic car haha

my GTO is fairly quiet.how i prefer it.


my SS is too bad either even with gutted cats and LTs.

Even with my nearly stock exhaust (just a chokemaster muffler) I still gotta be careful in parking garages or I'll set off alarms. Can't wait to get a full exhaust bolted up :D

Oh man! I completely forgot about parking garages... :eek2: I remember going through parking garages when I have the bass system in my old camaro!! fun times.

similar to the slp dual dual my edelbrock is very quiet / reasonable at idle or normal driving. at full throttle its plenty loud 4 me. im older & i cant stand harleys with open pipes. my muffler has 3 straight thru 1 inch plus tubes inside the muffler. i think its discontinued :( I LUV IT! in my 40's i dont wish to pizz off any cops!

I have lt, ory and a chokemaster. I think it is a good sound, not to bad, although i do get some funny looks.. Could be my driving.:drive:

If you want to tone it down a little bit then install a Magnaflow #14419 bullet muffler in the I-pipe, otherwise leave it alone.
BTW, my car is loud enough that I normally shut my car off when placing an drive-up window order at a fast-food restaurant.

i really dont like my cars loud. it gets to where it sounds obnoxious and sometimes not even that good.

i dont know how people can live with LMs with LTs. i mean that shit is loudddddddddddd.

i like a nice rumble that gets attention but doesnt annoy people and attract the wrong ones. (LEOs) :angel:

I don't know why people don't like loud cars (assuming they sound good). I'd take a healthy sounding LS over the radio any day :drive:
