Cool Check your local pick your part...

Had to share, picked up a complete, clean LT1 spec t56 (turned it in every gear sounds super smooth with no grinding, goes into gear with a crisp click) out of a 95 Z28 this morning. Car had only been there for 15 minutes before it was found. I know Ill have to do the bellhousing, input shaft, and front cover swap to use it in my lsx swap into my '72 Cutlass but for the price it couldn't be passed up. I figure for $99.25 it can be done much cheaper than trying to find a lsx t56.

I have been watching this yard for several years and will find a bargain every few trips but this has been my biggest score and has greatly sped up my lsx swap timeline.

You were extremely lucky, I work for a local pick your part and trust me that would never make it out to the yard. It would be picked by an employee first or would be sold at a higher price. Employee's at our place get a 50% discount so it's hard to pass up certain items lol.

Nice find! My local yards dont have anything. They stack the cars and when an f body comes in it is already picked clean. I have to drive at least 90 minutes to get to a decent pick a part.
