Default Looking to buy Trans Am soon

I found this car in my search for a Trans Am that I'm trying to buy in the next few weeks. I am a bit nervous about the car and the fact it has a new motor in it. Motor was built by a GM tech from a shop in NJ apparently and there are supposed to be records for the build with it. I'm going to look at the car this Sunday. Just trying to get everyone's opinions or experience with buying cars from private sellers. I have about 11k to spend on a car and want to make sure I get the right one and don't buy something I'm gonna have to be fixing. What do y'all think?

The pictures look pretty good. IS there a warranty on the engine?
