Like it says, im doing a turbo fox build and cant decide on the motor. Stock bottom end, s480, most likely a glide, also leaning towards a th400..95% drag 5% street IF that. I have done my research but the answers are not for what im looking for, so, for drag racing purposes, l33 or lq4? I know the l33 is lighter with thicker walls but theres no replacement for displacement...

Thats true, ive been thinking too, theres room to grow with that too, after a while 370ci etc etc . How are the walls though? Not a problem?

The s480 will be maxed out wayyyy before a wall cracks, I'm not a big fan or overboring though, not enough gains for the work, so i can't speak for a 370.

Yeah true that, me either though i dont like the idea of thinning the walls do they have stock bore forged internals i never looked

l33 would be pretty decent

either one will be decent, ill make more tq with the 6.0 and itll help on the line and probably spool that turbo better, sh*t
