Default Ground Braid on 3800ii

My ground braid that goes from the body to the engine block(?) is almost torn, but how on earth am I supposed to access the nut holding it in place on the block side, and not lose the nut after I take it off?

But I can't even get a ratchet into the hole.. It looks like it's strapped to the motor mount.

-- Finally got it... it was quite difficult. Go from underneath, set ratchet perfectly and you can get like a 10degree turn.. quite time consuming.
