I was inside the driver side door of my 2000 Camaro SS. Found this rubber piece...What is it? Where does it go?

Where does it go? Found in bottom of driver side door...

Might go on the fenders to cushion the hood on a car

Could also be a radiator support

My guess is a fender or hood bump stop...to what car I have no clue

Im pretty sure its an "emergency" window stop so if the window arms break or something the window doesn't come crashing down at the bottom of the door. I remember finding the same thing too. There should be small squares cutout at the bottom of the door that arrow shaped part of the rubber piece will fit into.

It was found inside the door cavity. I took a closer look at the passenger door and found where it was used.

there is a slot on the bottom of the door.... Towards the front that it fits into. So like mentioned above it is a stop for the window!
