Default Need help i am lost

So I am having some issues with my 1998 Trans am WS6 and I am at a loss for what it is.. I am getting very frustrated and just want it to be running right again last summer/fall it seemed to be running fine with loads of power, I stored it for the winter in my garage (non heated) with the battery taken out of it for 5 months and just recently took it out a bit ago, I have put 150 miles on since taken out of storage and refilled the tank with fresh 93 once, and it ran fine in the beginning of when I took it out but now seems to have lost a significant amount of power and sometimes has a good lack in throttle response. For example, riding down the road at 50 and floor it, it takes a second or so to even start to accelerate. I have also noticed while idling once in a while it will dip below 1000 rpms and idle rougher than it used to and sometimes sputters and bogs in low rpms while driving..

Sorry for the long post but any help would be greatly appreciated, I have new plugs, wires, and fuel filter to be put in when I get some time but other than those if that doesn't fix it I don't know what to do maybe 02's? only the fronts are being used. And it can't be the MAF because I am on speed density tune and the MAF isn't being used. I have also started to hear a weird humming noise coming from engine bay while driving recently that seems to be connected to this..

If this info helps to diagnose.. this is my build specs..

Sounds like the fuel filter may be clogged.

Sounds fuel related to me also. Did you put anything in the tank when you stored it to help prevent moisture build up or anything in the fuel tank? I'd change the filter then run some sort of fuel system cleaner through it for a full tank or two and see if it helps clear anything up. Gas sitting for 5 months will usually have some problems with all the crap they put in it now days, especially in a car with a metal gas tank like your 98.

I put a bit of Sta Bil fuel stabilizer in it but I didn't run it after I put it in.. What would you suggest I put in it? I have run through a tank of 93 already and it hasn't changed.. Also, the car was not filled up all the way when I put away for storage, maybe half to 3/4 of a tank was in it

Lucas, RP, Seafoam, pick your poison. There are tons of fuel system cleaners on the market. Change that fuel filter for sure though as it could have gotten gunked up with fuel sitting in it for that long. If you never ran the car after you poured in the Stabil, it would have never made it past the tank so your fuel lines, injectors, filter all had untreated fuel sitting in them.

Will the fuel system cleaner clear any gunk out from sitting? Will it clean out the injectors? I'm an idiot for not running it with the stabil in it I knew I should have once I had it put away but it was too late....

is Chevron Techron good stuff to use to clear it out and un-gunk it?

Is that fuel cleaner better than RedLine?
