Ok my final piece of experience. Ill put it here.
If you really want to hold 800 horses in a daily driver- it is possible to use a manual trans and a clutch. You just need the right clutch. A single disc... probably isn't going to cut it. A twin is most likely the best answer. There are several twins which give near-stock drivability, long life for a daily, and still hold the power. The only down side is the price is nearly the cost of a transmission.

In the military, in the morning I would be in gridlock traffic for over an hour in my manual. My leg would be tired when I got to base. It did get better, or I got used to it but never went away. You are using one leg much more than the other, you are probably always going to feel it.
