Default Dyno tune

Had a local shop refuse to dyno tune unless I bought $1500 injector dynamics injectors and didnt use meth. He said he would consider tuning with meth but would not add any timing. Dude said he doesnt know anyone who uses meth/water injection...

I wont say names but just curious... is it that hard to tune a blown 4.8 with meth and 60#injectors? Ive only dabbled with HP tuners on NA motors.

Definitely go elsewhere. Seems like the tuner is basically telling you he doesn't know how to deal with your setup.

I will say one thing. It can be a big risk when some random car shows up, the owner wanting 800 horsepower and has some $150 ebay injectors in the engine. I wouldn't touch that either. Not saying yours is but fwiw

Default INJ-60 Spec Sheet

Hi Jeff, I know who supplies ID with injectors AND they ALWAYS send a "spec" sheet.
We supply a DENSO #65 .lbs for $65.00 each with the Idle Quality of a Denso (small micron droplet) that will idle as if the size was a #40 .lbs.

You must supply the INJ-60 specification sheet, here on LS-1 tech, then many could help with the calibration including myself.

As for the "tune" this is a common size for a 800 HP MAX engine output. (flywheel)
As for the TUNER ??? ( I agree, better go find another)

He is the tuner, he gets to decide. Don't like it? Learn how to tune your own car then.
