I was wondering if any of you guys do a 3rd gear burnouts. i usually do my burnout in 2nd but it doesnt seem to get the wheel speed to heat them up like i would like. seems like tire is moving slow. I have 28x10.5 hoosier bias ply with 456 and around 450rwhp i didnt know if i dumped it on the line lock in 3rd it bog

you need to rip apart the block and replace those piston rings you fried.....psh granny siftin not double clutchin like you should

You can't get enough heat in those tires even with a 2nd gear burn out? How long is the burnout?

I used to get decent smoke in second (auto) with 3.23 and 3.73, with 4.10s I was getting no smoke even taching it at 6k rpms. I realize now I shoulda been clicking up to 3rd during the burnout. I'm on to a turbo build and back to 3.73s but I may try the 3rd gear burnout anyway. 28x10 hoosier.
