Default VATS Question...

Will the starter crank at all, even a little bit, If VATS has an issue?? (on a 2001 Z28)

No. The BCM does not supply ground to the starter relay coil unless it sees the correct resistance value in the key pellet so the starter won't even start to turn over if it doesn't. Besides, if you have a VATS problem, the SECURITY light in the instrument cluster will be on or flashing (on if it sees a pellet that's the wrong resistance, flashing if it can't see a pellet at all).
