I'm at about $16-18k. Would be a lot less if I didn't have to spring for so many repairs and replace most of the work done by the first shop I went to.

02 Camaro's car is a prime example of what I put in my sig, "we fix what other shop's break"... I feel bad for Danny, he's a real nice guy that just got screwed hardcore by the previous shop.

I couldn't imagine spending as much on my car as some of you guys have. I'm sure before I'm through with my car it'll have a good few grand into it... but over $10,000!!??! That's just incredible, imo. But then again I'm only 17 and very broke.

I have about 7000 so far, but am buying a H/C combo by this weekend. So I say over 10K sounds about right.

Alot of the just bolt-on guys are under 10K. It adds up over time. The guys alittle over that want a reliable powertrain (motor, tranny, rearend.) Me and maybe a select few want the addition of safety and NHRA required equipment.

bare body cars cost a lot to even make roll, so its kinda hard to add it all up....motor trans 3500 chromo k member with a arms450 carpet wheels 500 tires 600 brakes 250 abs you get the idea----prolly 6-7 grand getting the car to roll possible a hair over 10 with the suspension

I'm still way under 10K but had I paid someone to do all the work I did, (besides adding lots more down time to the equation) I estimate it would have cost at least $15,000 for what I have done.

Car listed in sig was 17K in 2001 with 21k Miles. Add the 5k in mods. This was orginally my brother-in-laws car. I just purchased from him 3 months ago for 13k he could of sold it for more I am sure. But it was family.

Default First Custom 427 Z06 STS TT Build

First Custom 427 Z06 STS TT Build

O.K. more updates.

This is being done at
http://www.synergymotorsports.net/
You might want to check out the events section, its well worth it.

There will be two boost settings at tap of a button. Triple XXX and Quadruple XXXX.
It will run on pump gas.
Most of the weight of the kit (Special turbos) is in the back and replaces the mufflers (so you take this weight out completely). So a little more weight on the rear tires.

We are beta testing on my C5 427 Z06 first.
The car will be and has been road coursed.
The car is completely upgraded.
Fully built 427 with just about everything for road racing.
C5R Custom Suspension will coil overs, etc..
Race Brakes, Cryoed, Titanium, Ceramics, Aerospace material, etc.
World Challenge Carbon Fiber body parts.
The list goes on.

Yes, you do have to have, a screw loose to do this. Any other loose screws lying around? I do not want feel like I am the only one that is completely nuts.

Regards
