Question Who has heard of Porting your Intake ????

well i just had some guy tell me that i could keep take my stock ls1 intake and port or polish it and it will flow a little bettter untill i can decide on my inake setup ,have you guys ever heard of this ..and if so how do you do it

Ive heard of people porting out LS6 intakes and fast intakes but I havent heard of anyone porting a stock LS1 intake. sure you would see some gains but not sure if it would be worth the trouble

ya thats exactly what i thaught to on a better intake such as the fast or ls6 you would see some gains. but on a stock ls1 intake i dont think the gains would be worth the effort

Porting the intake is well known here. Search around. Most people port the FAST or LS6 intakes.

dont do it... save your time and money and just get an LS6 .....unless you are going for a max effort H/C or bigger cubes.

Can you port a stock LS1/6 intake? I was under the impression it couldnt be done on those.

Just port match your new BBK intake man. Porting a ls1 intake is a waste of time imo.
