Guys, if you don't have 195K+ with just regular maintenance, then resist the urge -- and I know it's powerful, but be strong -- to post your miles. It's nice that you know how many miles are on your car, and it's terribly interesting how those numbers keep going up the farther you drive, but Shiner's looking for the highest mileage LS1. The key word being highest.

There's a 1998 Corvette in the autotrader here for $13,900 with 173,000 miles on it. Looks good but when i called the guy about it he wanted to be a dick (he said i couldn't "Handle" the power?!?!) I told him it wasn't worth the hassle. A ton of miles though.

Hold on, Killer! First let's talk about punctuation. There are little things called "periods," "commas," and "question marks." Ask your local second grade teacher about them.

Let's try that again.

"Well, if it's such a big deal, why didn't he make this smart *** comment?"

Whoa! You lost me. Who are we talking about, and what coment didn't he make?

"I didn't read that anywhere in the opening thread."

You mean the first post? Where Shiner asked, "Who owns the highest milage LS1?" Yes. You should have read that. I agree.

In any case, I was just pointing out that people should ask themselves two questions before posting. 1) Do I own an LS1? 2) Does it have more than 194K?

All I'm saying is posts like "00 109k," "'98 with 107,000," "my 2000ss has 64k," became pretty well useless after post 8. That's all I'm saying.

That, and I'm sooo drunk.

And, my '99 Z has 109,000 miles. WAHOO!
