i just wanted to know what shops usually charge to install headers and true dual on a 98 trans am

$250 wouldn't be a bad deal. for headers and exhaust work afterward. If you are gonna get it welded, expect a little more.

put it all on yourself and if you want it welded then have them weld it, so much cheaper.

I think it would be hard to find somewhere to do headers on an LS1. I'm sure there are performance oriented shops around which will do it for you though. I'd say it would be high though. I'd look around on the board and find a sponsor near you and give them a call and see what they say...

if your looking to get it installed the labor for just the headers is gonna be around 300 bucks, then about 150-175 for the true dual if you already have the system. Your looking anywhere from 500-625 for just labor of installing the the entire exhaust system.


Or you can just do it yourself for zero dollars.

where are you located??? if you were around cincinnati i would install them for you, they arent hard if you know how to use a wrench and socket set then you can do it.
