Default I Hate My Car!!

So my normal oil pressure is right around 42-45ish..

Today i had less than a quarter tank of gas, i put $30 in and when i cranked up the oil pressure was right around 32-35 and the SES light came on.

I didnt notice anything unusual, if anything the car actually idled SMOOTHER after i filled up. If the light stays on tomorrow after school ill get it checked out. The autozone guys must be gettin pissed haha, i go in there about every 3 weeks asking for a scan

And I thought it was only BLKWS.6 who hated his car over every little issue or non-issue for that matter. You guys should start a "I hate my car club".

I saw the thread title and immediately thought BLKWS.6...

what? then why do you keep going there? if a specific brand of orange juice made you break into hives and gives you seizures, would you still buy it? if the answer is no, then why would you keep going to a gas station that "always" gives your car problems?

siphon out the tank, fill it up with 91+ OCTANE - not regular or plus - seafoam the entire car and change your fuel filter. you'll be surprised what that can do for your car.

Choco is 100% correct. If you always have issues at that station, why would you keep going back? I don't get it?

lol. i mean, i'm lazy and all, but...damn. even if this gas station is cheaper, is 4 cents a gallon really worth a car that runs like poo?

It always surprises me how many people I know with cars that should run on premium that run regular through them and say "well I'll put the good stuff in when I am gonna race"... stupid people that don't know anything about engine timing or octane...

Use better gas.

I pretty much only fill up at the top brand places. Shell, Mobil, Chevron, QT. I filled up at a shitty place one time and my SES light came on. That was enough to make me spend the extra 2 cents to get good gas.

I've never had a ses lite come on for bad gas. I did have a time with the stock fuel cap not sealing up rite at times. It use to throw some low evap system code.

It does happen! Our 02 Suburban is a CA emmisions vehicle, and we live in the midwest now. There is so much ethanol in the gas here, we can only fill it at a few places without throwing lean codes.

Your post gave the impression that this was a regular issue. Words like "always" imply many occurances.
