Default I'm picking this up on Sunday...

98, T-tops, 6-speed, 138,000 miles.

It has a lot of miles, but it looks CLEAN, and it seems to be in really good condition. Everything works.

$5,500.

Looks real clean, nice find. No rear seat belts for some reason.

Thanks.
I didn't even notice that.
I know that he traded a guy with cloth seats for his leather seats.
(Notice the doors are leather)
Do you think that might have something to do with the seat belts?

Yeah I havent even seen it yet.
I'm driving down there with the cash, hoping that when I check it out, everything is good to go.
Talking to the guy it sounds like a solid deal, (of course they always do).
I have a 4 hour trip back home in it... So if anything is going to go wrong, I'm sure it'll happen then. It will be a hell of a test drive.

$5500 is a steal if it is mechanically sound.

You're better off that way. F-body leather doesn't hold up well over time & miles. The cloth will last almost forever though.

Well I picked it up.
Power steering is going out.
two balding tires.
Rack and Pinion wasted.

He threw in two tires, and he is sending me the rack and pinion to replace the junk'ed one.

It also has a problem starting... but he said it fires right up in the winter... could be a number of things.

On the positive side, the car ran strong, drove well, shifts clean, car has a lot of potential.
