I don't see anything in it that is unusual, he's not saying it came factory w/ a 427, he's saying it's 1 of 247 white SS cars made in 2002, which is probably about right. The build numbers are posted in the specialty cars section so you can check there. Anyway, it seems pretty legit. Certainly possible to have a stroked resleeved LS6 put in the car.

Don't know why he'd sell it so cheap, but hey, I gues he's hoping the bid will take it to where it needs to be.

Neat idea, a completely smoggable 427 in CA. Albeit has stock intake and exhaust, you got to do what you got to do to stay legal. Although I'd throw on some LT's and full exhaust and intake and keep the stock **** for smog.

He says it was a California car, that would explain the stock manifolds/air lid.

Seems legit IMO.

It is a 2002 SS yet it has the later year SS wheels.... Shouldnt it have 10 spokes? But i guess he could have changed that just as easy as changing your shoes. Just something i noticed

Looks like BS to me. It is stock on down to the lid. Who the **** builds a 427 and doesn't put a lid on it!? Nice car, but I call BS on the 427.

x2

i'll bet it's some old man's car that grew up in the muscle car era when the LS6 WAS a 427 (or 454?)....i can't remember. he may have bought the car from some kid who new it had a LS6 intake on it and there was a miscommunication and a huge generation gap.....

that looks WAY too stock to be a 427. even if i was to build a sleeper like that, it'd have a lid, plug wires, MAF, Lt's, or SOMETHING other than stock....

BUT i could be wrong, it's happened before....

Default typo

im caliing bs .
the engine has a stock intake . i might buy the cali stuff but no intake ? lid ?
i would think a 427 would choke on a stock intake if that was not the only ting that looks fishy .

Check his feedback and look at the last car he sold a built WS6 .

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=260119269467

This can be done by clicking on his feedback score .
The ws6 claimed to be built and it also appears totally stock in the pictures and on top of that look at who he sold it to has a feedback of only 1 and just so happens to live in the same city as whoever is selling .

Just dont seem right

Seems Legit.I dont see why he would lie about a cam in it to when you could probably hear the cam(Id ask for the cam card).Seems cheap, but you might as well go ahead and figure ur gonna be replacig the transmission soon with the power its probably making.
