It really depends on your budget, Most of the bigger companies sound great. Flowmaster sounds good but alot of people argue that they restrict to much power. You should just check out major autopart dealers and see what you are willing to spend on a muffler and take it from there.

Okay....bullets are out . Like the above poster said, it depends on your budget. Granted, pretty much all mufflers are "affordable," you still have to decide how much money you want to spend on them. I went with Magnaflow 4x9's, for about 70 something bucks a piece. They're unpolished stainless steel, flow extremely well, and sound awesome. They have a low rumble at idle, very tolerable at partial acceleration and cruising speeds, and they are pretty mean sounding at WOT. I think these would be a good choice for you. Another muffler you can look into is Moroso Spiral Flows. They're cheaper and are smaller as well. Go to ls1sounds.com and sift through what's there, I'm sure you'll be able to come up with something.

Don't want race car sound?

lol, then don't get the loudmouths.

Personally, I'm in love with them but only because they are so damn loud.

Doesn't help that its a catless setup either but still.

If you want what flows the best - Bullets. If you want what has the least drone and the better sound - Spiral flows, sweet thunders, magnaflow 4x9, flowmaster 1 chamber

If you go with the TSP Rumbler X setup, your mufflers will come welded on.

youd be the minority with that opinion.

magnaflows flow just as well as bullets and have a much quieter, more refined tone

Agreed. Bullets and sweet thunders have that raw, old dump truck sound IMO.

I wouldn't say he's the minority.....If you're going true duals, then quiet isn't at the top of your list.

What I am saying is that those choice of mufflers arent that great sounding. I'm not talking about overall sound level. Hell, listen to my car

There'll be a negligible difference power-wise with any of those mufflers. Go with what sounds best to you.

They're all popular mufflers, and have been around for a while. The power difference will not be noticeable. I would say the Mags flow the best because they're a straight through design (you can look straight through it). Like said before, go with what sounds the best to you, because there isn't going to be a night and day difference in power.

The bullets are strait through, you can loo through them too. but not any on the list would you ever notice a power level difference they are all so close.
Sound its all preference, but bullets rule,ha i put exhaust on for sound and i like things loud but they are not as loud as oyher set ups. but lowder than others.
