1998 z28 vs. Saturn Ion Redline
This might sound dumb but im wondering if i can be one of those. This kid at my school wants me to race him. Keep in mind that i have 175,xxx miles so its a worn out motor, Auto 4spd, and 2.73 gears. He has a brand new car, manual, supercharged. He says he will kill me. Honestly i really dont want to because i dont want to lose my liscense and i have a gut feeling the race would head south. Hes one of those kids that does not cares if he gets a ticket where if i do i lose the car for 5 months. hes tried to get me to race him but im always busy. Basically if it came down to we meet at a light would i win?

um...i give plenty of credit to the LS1. The only reason i really asked is because ive been in a couple of Cobalt SS and there pretty quick, also they are lighter. So just wanted some feedback and it looks like i got it, should i go off a dig if it does happen or off a roll?
After reading curb weight they are actually pretty heavy

hahaha, either way you own him.... freeway or dig, hes got no chance... unless your motor is totally shot. if your worried about consequenses and hes that cocky throw a hundred on it, at least you would have money to pay for the ticket, not to mention bragging rights... lol
