It still looks new, no idea on how many miles are on it but it's still red in color.

My concern was being in FL I can wash the car, put it outside and it'll look clean for weeks.
Now here in TX I've been here for 3 days now and the car is already covered in dust. I still may go back to the k-n though.

I doubt it was the air filter change. The Fram flows just as well as the K&N on the dyno. IMO, the K&N is more of a POS than the Fram, but I won't beat a dead horse...

if your in a clean place then go with the kn ex florida would be fine, but if your in a dusty *** place like texas nv az etc then go with a fram, i knwo when i slapped a kn on mu atv it ran for about an hour before it was clogged up and **** wasent even worth cleaning at that point

Who really cares, it's 3 mpg. If you're worried about gas mileage buy a bicycle.

I prefer PureOne, great quality with low price.
I wish I would've known that before I got a Fram oil filter last week when I changed my oil. Would I have to change the oil again, if I'm going to change the filter to a different one?

no, just fill your new oil filter up with oil before you put it on and you will be fine. Check you oil level again after start up. you shouldn't lose much if any oil at all doing it like that.

Damn people got ******* stupid all of a sudden.
One guy says don't be cheap get a k&n- I have one jack *** I'm just not using it.

Another guy says it's only 3 mpg and thinks I'm worried about gas mileage- I'm only concerned because I lost three for no reason.

Another guy said it's because I had a big block in the car. Well I got 25-26 mpg with the big block in the car. After that trip and about 100 miles later I take another trip to the same place with a suitcase in tha car and get 22 mpg. About 500+ pounds LESS cargo.

there's your solution.. just keep a big block in your passenger seat all the time

Ok cool. I'll probably do that later this week. I saw that someone said Wix filters are pretty good. I was going to get one of those anyways, but I thought Fram was the best.

I dont like using cleanable air filters, I use Fram paper filters, no problems here at all, or loss of Gas mileage for that matter

Did you drive any more aggressivly on the empty trip as opposed to the weighted down trip? The only thing I can relate it to other than that would be fuel filter possibly.

I didn't drive much differently, if anything I left it in 6th more. Before I was shifting from 6th to 5th a lot.
