Default ls1 4l60e swap please help!

Ok I am dropping my tranny and pulling out my motor. I have two simple questoins, when I drop my tranny can I drop it from the pan with a jack and block of wood or somthing. also when pulling the motor can I pull it up from the heads?, I have a cherry picker

Would probably be easier to drop the motor from underneath along with the tranny.

I know but this the the only way I can do it. Also how do you guys get to the top tranny bolts?

Long extensions with a universal and socket on the end with the transmission cross member out with the tranny tilted back.

once the crossmember is out you can get to them with a long ext. and a swivel socket.
