More Amps Retro-fitting Altenators? Does anyone know if you can fit another type alternator to get more amps?102 Amps if Im not mistaken are the ls1's.Looking for 140+ amps.

Yes you can fill your current amp with upgraded parts for more amps. I don't know where you are, but, in the next town over from me is a father and son shop that rebuilds alts,gens,starters and some welding equipment. I drop off my stuff there. Try the yellow pages. Their mostly big rigs.
