Default Best route for me to take????

I have a 2000 Camaro SS, Midnight Blue, M6. It has around 75K miles on it. It has 5.3L Heads. GM hot cam. Moser 12 bolt w/3.73s, (about to order fresh ones), Fikse M5 wheels with 315 Nitto DRs on back. I have a torque arm in the works, a BMR. About ot start looking for coil overs. I am wanting a boost car if i keep mine, i am considering buying a C6 z06 if i sell my car. I have doen everything to my car but the cam was done when i got it. If i keep the car i want to put a 408 stroker in it and a single conventional system turbo setup. No STS. Which would leave me with an LS1 to play with (possibly put it in a toy around car, RX7 or something like that, a real sleeper.)

So i have some options. I was going to see what you guys thought.

1) Buy a C6 Z06 (used but low miles)
2)Mod my LS1 motor with a bigger cam and maybe some nitrous.
3)Mod my car but with a 408 (or any motor you wish to suggest) and boost it.

Just basically needing some direction cause im really split on the whole deal.

Everyone is going to tell you that if you can afford a Z06, buy it. No one can really make the decision for you without knowing your financial situation. I would personally buy the Z on the grounds that it'll be plenty fast, has lower miles than your SS and will be more reliable than the other options. just my 0.02

i would get a truck or something to drive everyday if i kept my camaro, and i could afford a Z, i have two im looking at and i have driven botha nd they are absolutely one of the fastest cars ive driven. I may be buying a house here soon, so if i do that i could afford it but i would ahve to be more careful about my money, if i kept my camaro which is pretty much paid off i could mod it up and just go buy a new truck or something of the liking. didnt know if anyone who owned a boosted LS1 would give any advice, or owned a Z would give any.

just ******* boost your car and smoke the z06... you wont end up with payments later... and will put a z06 driver in your rearview mirror

modded cars always need work it seems. the more stock, the less work and it'll hold it's value better. The boosted SS would probably beat the Z06 but the corvette is soooo sexy and also.... still really really fast.

Hmmm. Very fast, new, reliable Z06 or bad-***, even more powerful SS. Tough choice. You have done a lot to your car already so I would keep it and go with option #3.
