Ha... wow.

If a professional car dealer ran into this. He would have thanked somebody for the heads up and asked for more info. And left it at that.

end of story

The last year 2002 WS6 came with almost ALL options as standard equipment. Leather, T-tops, power seats, everything. The only thing not standard on the last models was the 12 disc CD changers and I think one other thing.

If he is for real and a good guy then if I was him I would get that car off autotrader and take it to an auction to get rid of it ASAP! That rigged up basket case will get him in a lawsuit for sure.

Seller's Description and Comments

LOOK LOOK LOOK!!!! 2002 Pontiac Trans-am WS-6 6 speed. Folks here is the deal of the internet bar none. You won't be able to buy another car like this anywhere for this price. Vehicle is a gorgeous pewter on charcoal cloth. Vehicle has power windows, locks, mirrors, tilt, cruise, cold A/C polished alloy wheels, new tires, glass T-tops, AM/FM CD, and keyless entry. Vehicle is a real WS-6 car per the RPO codes in the door but someone removed the ram air hood and wheels at some point in it's life. Vehicle is powered by a 345 HP. Ls-1 V-8 backed by a 6 speed transmission. Now, I know what you are thinking.... Why is this car so cheap????? If you are interested call for details. Overall this is just a whole lot of vehicle for the money. But, don't take my word for it, come in and drive the vehicle and draw your own conclusions. There will be absolutely no dissapointments in this vehicle. If you have any additional questions or concerns please call or email us. We will be more than happy to provide any additional photos or description. I can also be reached after hours and on weekends via my cell phone 423-366-7357. Please call the office via our 1-800 number or 423-652-1057 or email us. We will be more than happy to set up an appointment for you to view the vehicle in person or set up a test drive. Thanks for looking and happy shopping, Drew

I was this close to selling my Firehawk to get this car too. Damn.

they were like hey! get me a v6 speedo and seats, ugh....hmm how bout a 98 dash, and hmm give me a 2000 LS1 and Trans, im definately feelin a stock firebird hood, oh hey anyone got a v6 intake? yea just like that.

This car is a Ws6 by vin. It was stolen, or..........REPO'D and the owner took all the good **** off and put his buddies **** on, the dealer bought it at auction and now is selling it.
Speedometer kind of scares me. And so does the EGR. No one...i mean no one would switch all the EGR out, manifolds, then tune the computer to run with EGR.

Maybe the only thing WS6 is the vin tag. Because of the EGR I kinda wonder if it's a frame and drivetrain from a 98-2000 LS1 and they just set a V6 body on it then just stuck the VIN tag on it from the WS6

What really sucks is that someone dying to get in a TA will buy this and get ripped off. How can the dealer say he is not out to get someone. If he has been in the business for 20+ years he knows what these cars are about, especially if he has a few on his lot. This guy got even worse coming on here backing himself up, he looks like a bigger ***** if you ask me. People like us on Tech are here to lookout for **** like this so future techers dont get screwed. I feel bad for the person that might eventually buy this unless the gov gets wind of this shaddy "stealership". Come on, you know what you bought and have, dont feed people (especially a specific car forum) bullshit, and dont make us seem "tough" we just dont like liars and scammers, we are a family, and family looks out for other family and future family. (i feel like a dad or someone of high regaurds)

I hope the seller/dealer never sells that POS. I would feel sorry for the person driving that abomination.

I would like to applaud everyone here that stood up to this used car salesman. You may have saved someone from making a terrible mistake. Let us all just hope that this car never makes it into the hands of a naive buyer. Things tend to even out in life and whatever that may be one day, this 'salesman' can look back at this incident. Again, good work everyone!! There is a place in car heaven for you guys.

Smokin you almost made me tear up reading about us looking out for each other.

I think we all get pissed off at someone on the board at one point but I think for the most part Smokin is right and we(car guys) try to help out each other.

Where is the seller of the car? He hasn't posted in a while. Probably out switching VIN's or something.

Primer84z,

I had first dibs on that car! I am going to trade in my Firehawk on it.

That car is a pile, and the salesman is a tard for trying to pass that off as a REAL ws6. I'd give him about 2500 and strip the thing down for a quarter miler project. That thing should NEVER see street use.

Seller's Description and Comments

LOOK LOOK LOOK!!!! 200x Pontiac Firebird/Trans AM/WS-6/who the hell knows for sure anymore with a 6 speed. Folks here is the rip off of the internet bar none. You won't be able to buy another car like this anywhere for this price (thank goodness). Vehicle is pewter on charcoal cloth which makes no sense for a WS-6. Vehicle has power windows, locks, mirrors, tilt, cruise, cold A/C polished alloy wheels, new tires, glass T-tops, AM/FM CD, and keyless entry. Vehicle is NOT a WS-6 car even though the RPO codes in the door say it is. Someone removed the ram air hood and wheels and decided to add a bunch of V6 Firebird parts at some point in it's life. Vehicle is powered by a 345 HP Ls-1 V-8 that is clearly older then 2002 by the ls1 intake and EGR but we hope you'll forget that and concentrate on the 6 speed transmission. Now, I know what you are thinking.... Why is this car so over priced????? If you are interested then please get your head examined! Overall this is just a monstrosity for way too much money. But, don't take my word for it, come in and laugh at the vehicle and draw your own conclusions. There will be absolutely no happy customers who buy this vehicle. If you have any additional questions or concerns please call or email us. We will be more than happy to provide you with the salvage title and messed up carfax report. I can also be reached after hours and on weekends. We will be more than happy to set up an appointment for you to bash the vehicle in person or set up a court date. Thanks for looking and I hope you're stupid enough to buy this car, Drew

I fixed the add for him
