Default Warning lights GALORE!

Hey guys!
I own a fully stock 02 vert camaro z28, except for an exhaust.
Just recently my ASR, BRAKE, and ABS warning lights have been turning on and off. At times those lights would appear while i'm driving. Also when I turn off my car and turn it back on again, the warning lights disappear, then appear later when Im driving.Im thinking of going to a shop to get it fixed, but if there is a cheater way then i might just take that route.

Has anyone experienced this problem, and what was done to fix it?

thanks in advance!

Sounds like an electrical problem to me. They can be tough to diag! Try looking for burnt wiring, melting insulation, especially where the wires come close to the exhaust manifolds or headers.

Also check the POS terminal post on the DRIVERS side. That nut can come loose and cause various electrical problems.

Check your batterie and alternator. The voltage should be above 13V (engine stopped), and 14V (engine runnning)

Have you checked out your bulbs in the center-mount brake light? I know that it may seem totally separate but the same thing happened to two of my catfish buddies both had burnt out bulbs; replaced them and no-more warning indicators!!

Those are all related. You have some issue with your system. Different sized front and rear tires, bad wheel speed sensor, etc.

Do you guys think the warning lights go on because i should change my brakes instead?
I havent changed my brakes since ive bought the car, but then again it doesnt make any brake squeaking noises, and it only has 45,xxx miles.

It is not because you need to change your brakes
