frozen T/A headlight wont go up

Default frozen T/A headlight wont go up

well with all this white crap falling i figured it would be good to go out and start/brush off my T/A. well now the passenger headlight will turn on but it wont flip up. the drivers side works fine... any suggestions?

Do you hear the motor turning? The gear could be worn out. Have someone turn the headlights off and on while you are standing next to it. What do you hear and feel?

theres a plastic gear thats probably shredded. If you hear the motor then thats the problem. They sell replacements that wont fail. GM will want to charge 500 for a new motor..... get someone else to install that gear if the motors fine.

check the fuse for that headlight motor first, if its good then read my sticky....
