coolant leak insde the car from heater :( today i discovered a coolant leak in side the car from the heater,i will not change the heater I'm thinking if i could close the two lines coming from the water pump to the heater .
will this cause any problems or should i connect the two lines to each other ?

you heater core is leaking! that always sucks! just take them off the heater core and connect them together it will be fine except you wont have a heater....
