Yeppers, Oil Pressure Sending Unit. I didnt seem to have a single problem getting my intake off without breaking it. I just reached back there and made sure the hose was over the top of it instead of behind it, and gently pulled it forward.....

You don't need an easy out.
The hex is still there, only the plastic broke off.

Yep, its a big old wrench like 24mm or something. Be careful tightening it down, I broke my new one when my wrench slipped and hit the sensor. Why the hell don't they just make it with a metal case..

I'm not sure that would improve its survivability any. Its so easy to break, if I broke it putting the boxed end of the wrench over it, it would probably be able to break when I put the socket on it.

hhaha true.. its a plastic POS...but the socket has a cutout and room to prevent it from breaking. Cant find a metal one, I do know Autozone has brass IAT sensors.. thats a major plus

I just broke mine and had no clue wtf it was Mine actually broke to where I think I can glue it back together. Not sure I want to attempt this though. I'm going to autozone and see if I can find this socket. I'm guessin its like a oxygen sensor socket, just bigger.

Oil wont leak since the pressure fitting is still in the block. Your safe til you replace it.
