Ok well my friend is selling a 1996 z28 with 138k miles for $1,000. The bad is that the car is knocking. He believes its a rod bearing but hes not sure. He just had the whole tranny and clutch rebuilt and drove it for a day when it started knocking suddenly. I want a project to build and i think its a good price but i want to know how much ill spend fixing it and if its worth it. Help appreciated. Thanks.
