got this pic out of another thread so ignore the frozen ac lines lol. can someone tell me what the bundle of wires wrapped in heat tape leading out of the same bundle as where the egr hook up is? (right in front of the passenger head)

My guess is the A/C compressor clutch wires.
I guess they're wrapped on EGR equipped cars.
My cars have the wires, non EGR, not wrapped.

the only reason i ask is because ive never really noticed them on 00+ cars. do they get routed differently? kind of an eye sore right there in the middle of the head. anyone have pics of the later years?

Yeah i did the EGR delete on mine and still have the wires sitting there. Someone post a pic of an 01-02?

If I remember right from building mu LS1 swap harness that four pin weather pac plug is a diagnostic plug for the crank or cam position position sensor (I think).

It's the EGR plug. The OP or someone already said it as well.
The topic is how to hide the wires that are shown in the pics.

the plug? no. as long as your egr is already gone. but again the plug isnt what im talking about. its the other wires that lead to the ac compressor that i want to hide. such as...

I don't see why they couldn't be taken out of the loom back by the firewall and run under the engine. Length shouldn't matter.
