Now this is just me thinking, BUT is it possible using seafoam could of messed up an injector in a higher mile car? It seems to be about the time my performance went downhill was AFTER I seafoamed. Just food for thought.
Sea Foaming has killed 02 sensors with some people. Even though people say it cant happen. And a bad 02 can cause misfiring and all kinds of crazy ****. But just in one cylinder, probably not.

I've been through several 02 sensors, I don't think that is the problem. I am going to swap the injectors around tomorrow I think. Anybody got any tips?

Does the number seven plug look wet, black, white, etc?

When did this start happening - just out of nowhere?

You know, I find it odd that the #7 cylinder seems to have all of the issues. Overbore with a knock, misfire, bent pushrods. Mine knocks like crazy when I first start it and then until it warms up to normal operating temperature it knocks when I accelerate. Once it warms up it still knocks a little at high RPMs. You would think that GM would have figured it out by now.

Good luck on the fix.

Thanks, the number 7 plug definitely looked rich. I haven't pulled it again since the plugs and wires change a couple days ago. I'm going to swap my injectors real soon once the weather is better, AND if that does not work I'll swap my 02's from side to side just for ***** and giggles I guess. Is there ANY step after that or do I move straight to compression test?

I have had this issue on and off with my 98 after using seafoam in the steel tank. **** got broken down and clogged the #7 injector. Look at the injector.....I bet it looks like coffee grinds are clogging it. I always spray some carb cleaner and blow the crud out....then number 7 works like new.

Got ya, I still have not gotten around to pulling the injectors, haven't been driving her much. I REALLY hope the injector is the problem, still not fully sure on the process of removing them..anyone got a walkthrough?

if the injectors arent it deff do a compression check, so simple to do. Anyone notice him say hes been threw several o2 sensors. Thats not normal. Is it always the same o2 you are changing ?

Still working on it, haven't had a lot of time.
I've been through several sets of 02's due to harness problems, my harness drug the ground and fucked my harness's so I had to fix that, then I had bosch 02's which my PCM apparently doesn't like, now I have some Delco's and all seems to be good with the o2's. I will be swapping the injectors shortly, and last ditch swap the 02's just to rule that out again.

I had the same code, did the same things you did, and still had the code. I brought it to the dealer to do a leakdown test and turned out to be the rings on #7 were screwed. That was at only 80k.

From what I've read, does anyone else started to think there might be a class action suit building here?

Wow, lets try and shine some light on this one bud.
I am only at a little under 120m, I REALLY hope this is not something internal. Maybe I can get away with swapping the injectors tomorrow and see what happens.

Now this is kind of off base, but should I try some fuel injector cleaner or is that **** a gimmick? Ideas anyone?

Already swapped the coils on Cylinders 1 and 7, misfire did not move. I am hoping it is the fuel injector.
