Default wtf, window motor related

So yesterday new window motor goes in, took long enough but finally finished blah blah. Working great and all, then all a sudden today I go to put the window down and the ******* piece of **** window like.. goes out of track? Now I didn't even think we had tracks on the 98-02 fbodys I thought it was one of those floating tracks. So how the hell does this happen, I can guide it to go up with my hand so it sits up in the right position and shut the door and I have to guide it to go down, if I don't it goes either way trying to go up and down like it has no idea what its doing. What the **** is wrong now?

There are three tracks. You see one of them when you take the door panel off. This could be 1 of 15 different issues. You have to take the door panel off and poke your head in there to see what's going on. Also check to make sure your regulator is in place.

Let us know what you see and what method you used to replace your motor. Did you remove the regulator?

I thought there was only one? I fixed it though, it fell out of the track.

3 - one vertical one at the back of the door (easy to see), one riveted to the window glass, and one bolted to the inside panel of the door (you can't see it, but you do see the two bolts coming out of the panel.

The window has one roller that engages the vertical track and then the regulator has one roller that engages in the inside track and two rollers that engage the window track.

Did the actual white plastic roller come out? (That should be impossible.) Or did the ball joint on the regulator arm snap out of the wheel? (In that case, you can just snap it back in.)
